I have been awarded a songwriting residency with the Brush Creek Arts Foundation! This means that I will be spending the month of September at beautiful Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming, writing and recording songs. It's an incredible honor to have been selected, and I can't wait to drive across the country, set up my studio space, and get to work!
The wonderful folks who run the Brush Creek Arts Foundation will host seven writers, musicians, and visual artists in September, giving us all a place to stay, food to eat, and a dedicated studio space to work on our projects. I will be funding my travel/accommodations to and from Wyoming, as well as the cost of some additional equipment to help me record (mics, software, etc.). I'm so excited to spend this time working on some much needed recording efforts so I can finally (FINALLY) release an album. If you're interested, there are a few ways you can stay involved and support me during the residency. First of all, I will be updating here throughout my travel and residency and posting pictures on Facebook and Instagram, so be sure to like and follow so we can keep in touch. If you'd like to show your support financially, I've added a little "Donate" button to the sidebar of this blog. All funds raised will go directly toward covering my travel/accommodation costs associated with this residency. You can give whatever amount you like: from a cup of coffee to a tank of gas, every little bit helps me get there and back again. Whatever you do to support this adventure, know that I'm endlessly grateful. You make it possible for me to pursue this crazy dream. -Bev |
